The auction project is finished!

My son’s 4th grade auction project is finished and it turned out great! Everyone who saw it loved it, and I couldn’t be happier with how the kids’ blocks turned out! They did an amazing job, and the buyer is going to love using this tablecloth/quilt at their next picnic. Here is a full shot of the entire tablecloth, as well as a few close ups of some of the blocks, and the basket I painted with just a basic flag design and then I wrapped the handles in left over fabric from the tablecloth to tie it all together.

The auction was on Saturday, and our patriotic basket and tablecloth went for $300, which was great! My boys loved it so much, that we are going to do our own Miller Family patriotic tablecloth, and I will find a picnic basket to paint. But, until then, I am going to get that UFO finished and then move on to other projects/surfaces that are waiting for me in my garage.

Until then, happy painting everyone!
