Quick and Easy Easter Pallet Sign

Spring project from the Artist's Club

Pallets are very popular and I couldn’t wait to create a quick and easy craft idea spring. Using our 6″ x 6″ Lathe Wood Pallet Box  and three colors of Americana Decor Chalky Paint Innocence #15104, Rememberance #15402, and Everlasting #15100), our Spring Writing Words Stencil #71892 and a silhouette of a bunny.

All I did was paint the front of the box with Innocence, I did two coats making sure to sand in between coats, painted the sides of the box Rememberance, again, I did two coats. Once the front and side are completely dry, I then placed the stencil on the front of the box and positioned it until I had the words where I wanted them and with a Deerfoot brush and Rememberance, I stenciled the words in place. Let dry completely and then trace on the outline of your bunny silhouette.

Use the brush you are comfortable with to fill in the bunny shape with Everlasting, I used a round brush and started outlining the shape first and gradually filled it in. I did two coats on the bunny because I wanted to make sure that the lettering did not show through.

Finish with your favorite varnish. You could even add a white pom pom for the tail on the bunny.

That is it, a quick and easy project that painters or crafters of all levels can create!

Happy Spring and Happy Painting Everyone!
