Who says pumpkins are only for Fall decorating? I made this festive Holiday pumpkin and can not wait to add it to my mantle this Winter. See the free pattern and instructions below!
Surface: Tall Pumpkin #80824
Palette: Antique Green #13147, Oyster Beige #13549, Plantation Pine #13113, Extreme Sheen 24K Gold #16077, Extreme Sheen Pearl #16074, Chalky Paint Refreshing #15392
Other Supplies: Acrylic Sealer Finisher Matte Spray #70836, Cling Stamps Delicate Snow Set #70895, Dual Sided Paint Pouncers set of 3 #70824, Gray Graphite Paper 18×36 #70141
Basecoat Pumpkin with Chalky Paint in Refreshing and the stem in Extreme Sheen 24K Gold. It will take a couple of coats to get the stem covered completely. Once dry, cover the snowflake stamps using a paint pouncer with Extreme Sheen Pearl. Stamp randomly around the pumpkin. This will add a very subtle detail to the pumpkin. It will look great surrounded by Christmas lights.
Transfer the design using the graphite paper. Basecoat the leaves with Antique Green. Add veins and stems with a thin liner brush and Plantation Pine. Dot the flowers with the end of the brush and Oyster Beige. Repeat with Extreme Sheen 24K Gold. With a thin liner brush, make smaller dots on the buds with Plantation Pine.
In order for the lettering to pop, basecoat the letters with Oyster Beige. Once dry, follow with Extreme Sheen 24K Gold.
Finish with a light coat of Matte Sealer.
